Sitting here at the international Harvester service, A Cummins service center. Cummins code 3151 and 3582 anybody have those issues before? Engine is running fine with no fault codes other than the little magic engine light came on the dash.

Both codes relate to the SCR catalyst system. Very well could be a doser problem, as mentioned.

Here's a link to all Cummins fault codes.

Bill2,

What year is your coach?

Cummins presently has an "Open Campaign" on certain SCR cannisters installed between 2010 and 2015 and can be found by your engine serial number on Cummins Quickserve Website once your registered.

Second, you may want to open the dosing unit and check the dosing filter for degredation.

The Cummins (Fleetguard) part number for the dosing filter is UF101.

A lot of coach owners don't even know this filter exists until problems arise from it being clogged.

Could also be the header unit or DEF control module.

A bad SCR sensor(s) typically throws a definitive code.

I’ve had the SCR problem recall done a year or so ago. Mine is a 2014 Tiffin 380 Cummins.

As it turns out we waited since Friday until this morning to find out that the SCR was not the problem. The technician done a recalibration of everything with updates and it appears as though that’s all that was wrong. More to come later.
