Cummins Engine Serial Number

How do I find my Engine Serial Number. I'm trying to register at Cummings and am looking for a serpentine belt for my ISL 400 Cummings Engine. Holiday Rambler 2006.

Gary,

I believe the serial number is on a data plate on top of the timing cover on the front of the engine. It might be easier to call Monaco with your coach number and they can tell you. While you are talking to them ask for the data card which will give you model and serial numbers for many components installed on your coach.

There is placard in our closet that shows that number. Yours might be in a cabinet.

The Cummins Quickserve site has info on finding the ESN - see https://quickserve.cummins.com/info/..._esn_tip.print

However, on my ISL that location is well-hidden behind other components bolted to the engine, so I ended up taking a photo (with flash) to "see" behind a bracket. Took me several tries but I got a nice shapr photo that showed the ESN and other info on the data plate.

Would also recommend join Cummins Power club for less then 20$ you get 10% discount on both parts and labor. I recommend this to one of our irv2 readers and he saved over 500$ on a turbo replacement on an ISM Cummins.

If you join Cummins QSOL, you can input your VIN and it will provide the ESN. A lot easier than getting under the engine!!

I did not know Cummins online would reconize a VIN number?
From my experance, the Cummins website asks for your "Engine Serial Number"..........since Cummins just deals with their engine, not the Chassis........ And as far as having to go "Under The Engine" to find your Engine Serial Number........You don't........It is on top of the timing cover as posted in this thread...........With photo's.
I never tryed my VIN number on the Cummins website........so I can't say for sure if it works or does not........will have to try it sometime, but getting the 8 digit engine number off the timing cover is easy for most. Thanks for the added tip.....
Edit: I just tryed my VIN number on the Cummins Quick serve online.........Did not work! Entered my 8 digit ESN ,........and .......got it. Seems the VIN # does not work........unless I am doing something wrong?
