Cummins isc 360 check engine alert

We drove about 175 miles today from one RV park to another. I shut engine down upon arrival and restarted
When restarted CHECK ENGINE ALERT IS ON.
I reset kill switch, no help

First step is There will be diagnostic codes in the engine ECM, find someone with a code reader to access them.

Most common solution is to change fuel filters.


Other then that you need to get the fault codes. I have a Silverleaf VMSpc that will show codes, there are other options.

Cheapest thing to do is check coolant level. A low level will give a check engine light. While you are back there, check the oil levl

First, get any DTCs! A scangauge-D will give you codes. (one for sale in the classifieds too...) Once you get codes then fix what is wrong, and do not throw parts at it...
