Cummins ISL Alternator -- 2007 Allegro Bus

While replacing the serpentine belt as a routine maintenance, I found the alternator bearing very growly and rough turning.

It is a Leeve Neville LBP2180
Local Kenworth dealer had a Delco Remy 24SI as alternate.

My question is terminals -- LBP2180 has large wire on PLUS out (battery)
small wire on terminal labeled NEG out

Delco Remy has following terminals
Battery (+)
R (remote sense)
I (indicator/Ignition)
and Ground Screw in case

I assume the wiring on reinstall would be
Large battery cable to Battery Plus
and Small cable to GROUND bolt on case.

Is this correct???????

Thanks twinboat -- just wanted some confirmation before I reached in that tight space to reinstall it --

The space around the engine in the Tiffin on a Freightliner side radiator chassis is not as good as the Eagle I had on a Spartan chassis.

Just installed Delco Remy 24SI === in place of Leece Neville LBP2180
no issues. Install was very slightly easier as case diameter is slightly smaller than Leece Neville resulting is slightly more space for a boxed end wrench.

Installed connections as listed above.

Getting 14.1 volts at 750-2000 RPM
Ran for 10 minutes and seems good.

Time will tell of course (years)
