Cummins ISM500 upper coolant hose

Looking to replace the upper elbow coolant hose on my spartan K2 chassis with the cm570 cummins. its 2 3/4 i.d. napa doesn't carry anything that would work. online, all i could find was a silicone elbow for $60, not 100% sure it will work though. so any help on a part# or link would be a great. i might try calling spartan on Mon and see if they can assist. Thanks! Merry Christmas!!

Be careful of silicon hoses! If you use a coolant that contains "sodium 2-ethyl hexonate" it's an acid that causes the coolant to form a jell and clog the system.

Coolant you must NOT ever use:
DEXCOOL and all the knock-off similar products (it is LD gasoline only use)
An AMSOIL coolant marketed as for HD diesel composed of propylene glycol (testing I had done at the Fleetguard chem lab shows that it is grossly undercharged thus is more suitable for LD gasoling)
There are several propylene glycol coolants (PG) that are suitable.

Use any coolant that has the printed statement "meets ASTM D6210" or similar language. That is a more universal spec that all diesel engine manufacturers, at least in the Americas has put into their corporate coolant recommendations for their engines. Coolant meeting this spec has sufficient chemical additives and inhibitors to either prevent or severely reduce cavitation pitting damage to the cylinder walls (coolant side) of diesel engines with removable liners and for parent bore (cast-in cylinders) engines that can experience cavitation such as the Ford Powerstroke 7.3L and 6.0 liter V8 plus older models of that engine as well as the International Truck and Engine equivalent design (they supplied Ford). If you run a Caterpillar 3208 as can be found in a Blue Bird Wanderlodge, you also need coolant meeting this specification.
