Welcome to iRV2 .

Oil filter on a Cummins in a pusher chassis . Drivers side rear of the engine in the same area as the alternator. I'll see if I can find a picture.

LF9009 from Cummins. To me filters are too important to try and save a couple $$ on.
As said earlier, drivers side of engine, next to the much smaller coolant filter.

Not sure , but when I tried to open it there was a message about it being , too large " and on my overnight notifications the script was 25 lines long.

Did you re-size to 640x640 before posting ?

EDIT: I have noticed that W-10 has been doing some weird things with my photo album.

Hm. It should have not required opening. I copied and pasted the image just like I do on my forum and I have the same software too. Strange. But with the descriptions given it would be hard to miss the oil filter............

I found ours (also an ISC) easy to get at but not so easy to get out having to wiggle it around stuff on the way out while not dumping the oil on yourself.

Glad you found it. They are not easy to see until you get underneath.

I have a 8.3 ISL on my 2004 Horizon,do you suppose its in the same location? any way I priced the oil filter/water separator 63.99 or with extended drain 65.99. If the extended drain is what I think its worth the extra 2.00 but what about the price, I am new to RVing and having hard time finding filters etc online, I usually use Amazon for almost everything else account lots to choose from , free shipping, good prices sometime I ebay too but not as easy for finding and comparing things I need to maintain RV as the other stuff I buy online, Where is a site with good products, good prices, fast shipping

Just so you know my ISC manual wants you top refill the oil filter prior to installing.

Confused: "water separator" is found in the fuel filtering system, not the oil system. The fuel filter closest to the fuel tank should include a water separator. I think you are talking about a fuel filter here.

Oil filters do not have water sepration cause water is oil is a major engine catastrophe, not a routine operational thing.

Just finished with an oil change, filter and both fuel filters. The oil filter on our ISC is driver side of the engine and reachable from underneath. Not the easiest to get at but doable. We used to get our oil, Rotella T, from BJ's wholesale but they no longer carry it. Found it in 2.5 gallon jugs at Walmart for about the same.

The fuel filters are at the rear of the engine compartment and very easy to access. Contrary to what Cummins supposedly says I prime the filters by plugging the center (out) hole and pouring fresh, clean diesel in the small outer holes (in). It starts right up every time.

I buy all of my big filters from Online Truck Filters for Sale, Filterbarn H&S Industries - Filterbarn Shipping is free over $100. Just bought two years worth of oil & fuel filters so over $100 was easy.
