ECM Pin Out Schematic for 8.3 ISC Cummins

Does anyone have a pinout for the ECM connections. I need to trace some broken wires back to the ECM from the Injection Control Valve stator. I need to know which wires are (+) and (-) coming from the ECM to the ICV. I also have to reconnect the transient suppressor but I believe it doesn't matter which wire goes to the connector for it. It doesn't have a positive or negative unless someone can tell me different. Trying to get my 8.3 ISC back running after finding broken wires due to mice chewing them into. They could have found a light wire to chew versus my engine wires. LOL. I have declared war on mice now.

I don't have the ECM pinout and wiring for the ECM , but it sounds like you have the CAPS injection system ; by mentioning the suppressor.

I have a CAPS diagnostic pdf I'll look through to see if wiring is covered .

I do have this on the suppressor .

EDIT : I've found a pinout for the ECM on the HPCR injection system ; Please confirm your engine year and if your fuel injection system is CAPS.

Best I've found so far ; no year given , but shows the suppressor so I'm sure its for the CAPS version of the ISC .

Have you tried : Cummins Quick Serve ?

Almost positive the transient suppressor has positive and negative. It's diodes, they will only work if it's the right polarity.

If you go the Cummins Quickserve site, create an account and register you engine SN you will access to lots of info including and electrical diagram with the pin numbers and the harness configuration. This is what Skip426 posted but will be specific to your coach.

https://quickserve.cummins.com/qs3/p...ice/index.html
The electrical diagram is in the Service Tab at the top.

The suppressor leads are red and black which leads me to believe it is polarity sensitive but I wouldn't bet on it.

The diagram is in Cummins Quickserve, I can see it,
but for some reason I can't save/download it....
You should have an account there anyway, lol
Use your engine S/N and it's free
