IMHO, most shops won't go public about it anymore. One of the more popular diesel tuning shows got their pants sued off for violation of the clean air act. The law makers have gotten smarter and going after the tuners, not the owners which is easier legally.

So not fair to the tuners, that is like arresting the person that manufactured or sold the used oil bucket instead of the guy that poured his used oil on the ground.

If you ask me, as long as the tuners make you sign a disclaimer stating you won't be using it on-road, they shouldn't be liable. Vehicle owners should be doing it at their own risk.

If you decide to do all the deletes.. run a sniffer test before doing deletes.. and run one after the deletes... see if you are still with in the limits.. post the results.. I bet you will still not pollute.. I would like to know.. most gas eng that have the deletes done still pass..
If deletes are done.. it's your responsibility not to pollute.. so keep your eng in top tune..
Don't over throttle and roll coal.. over throttle just wasting fuel.. and coking turbo..
Just opinions.. and opinions are expressed under the 1st amendment of USA constitution..
I don't advocate polluting.. or not following the law.. but it is different every where..
One should be able to freely ask for opinions and we the people free to express opinions..
Good luck and let us know what you did and maybe better members then me will help you

Probably your NOx won't meet the EPA standard, but the EPA standard is ridiculously low. NOx is a natural substance in our atmosphere and the EPA shouldn't even be regulating it.

i paid 2400
and i paid after testing it out which was impressive
they didn't request payment up front, not sure if that is their thing or they made an exception
engine is very smooth, and pulls noticeable better from lower rpm
my mpg is slightly up

I'm getting jealous. My Cummins is still under warranty. I almost can't wait until the warranty expires so I can do the delete.
