FYI the Simple Green - Purple is the product that's made for AL fins.

When I do my rear rad, I open the hatch in the bedroom for better access when spraying first the Simple Green, then when rinsing. After that, I head outside and do the rear of the rad. Depending on the amount of dirty brown water coming off the rad, (which isn't much any more) I'll do it again soon after if I'm heading into a hot area.

Doing some research, it looks like a running temp of 190-200 is about standard experience for my engine. I seem to be in at around 185-190 now. It was not a hot day (80's) so will have to check next time I'm out.
