Coolant Filter WF2070 12.26 same

Hydraulic filter 87610A 14.64 9 qt. reservoir, entire capacity 24 quarts. probably not needed. Some possible contamination can be introduced when you open the system to remove filters

Fuel filter FF42000 $9.41 yep, and get you an extra

Fuel water separator FS1242B $29.07 same as previous

Air dryer dessicant filter DQ6050 $160.79 if the heating/drying process works as it should they generally dont require changing as I understand it..but I need to read more. Seems pricy.

Air Filter 0420-HH2 $112.90 Yep, I would

Air filter eco 546891 installed now you have more than one element?

what is the latest or better items to use
what engine oil and hydraulic fluids to use

You generally wont be able to find boots by themselves in most cases.
Not sure I understand this question

>what is the latest or better items to use

LF 9009 is the latest design to replace the LF3000.

If you talk to Cummins I believe they will recommend the newer design.

For the problem of tie rod boots being damaged you might try cleaning boot area and then using Rescue Tape to seal the boot area and then grease. The boot job is to keep dirt and water out of tie rod and grease in. You will know when tie rod needs to be replaced by checking for lose steering. Should have 1 to 1 1/2 inches of free play in steering wheel if more then that you will need to check were to steering is lose when moving the steering wheel back and forth.
