How much did your full service cost ?

Hi all, I am curious if full service costs are different in different areas. I am in SW Florida and none of the dealers have enough help and are backed up year round and are VERY high.( $4,000 ) What all was included in the full service? 2009 ISL 400. Thanks , Ken

My annual service for my 400 ISL including Oil, Trans, w/filters and fuel filter and check over Including: Belts, hoses, Brakes, fluid levels, and air bag inspection is $800-$900,

It is serviced in Storage by a mobile diesel mechanic and I always pay in cash and get a receipt for the work done.

First thing to do is not go to a dealer. You don't need to service the trans every year and probably not even the generator.

I use Speedco and get oil, oil filter, chassis lube using my lube chart, two fuel filters for right around 300 bucks depending on location.

If by “dealer” you mean an RV dealer, that is the absolute WORST place to go for chassis or engine maintenance. Speedco, Freightliner, Cummins…anywhere except an RV Dealer!

As ByeTheWay said, full PM service on your engine and generator should cost no more than $800.

I live close to a Freightliner dealer who is a Cummings authorized service center. I asked them how much an oil change and lube was and they told me it was $900! I did it myself for a lot less. If Speedco will do the oil and fuel filters for $300 it’s a reasonable price.

That's what is great about this site, a lot of experienced folks helping with valuable information. I never knew speedco worked on rvs, thought it was only big trucks. I have one not too far away in north Ft. Myers that I'll call to see about the service. Ken

Right at $1500 for my 2019 Phaeton 3 yr service at Bay Diesel. Engine oil and filter, fuel filters, differential service, air filter replacement, chassis lube, full chassis inspection checklist and checked and adjusted ride height. Checked coolant and trans fluid. I thought the price was very reasonable.

Any recommendations for service in SW Florida ? A few of the coaches I'm looking at have had oil changes but no full service lately.

I was looking at Cummins in Ocala. It might be a nice stop on the way out of Florida. Thanks to all for the responses. Ken

really?

Some of those prices are crazy. I found a privateer who was formerly a Freightliner shop foreman who charges about $400 for complete service. Filters, 40+ quarts of oil, lube and all the other fluid checks. That price was 9 months ago so next month when I get serviced again we will see if the price went up.

First where are you currently in Florida. I usually do my services but I'm looking seriously at a place down the road from me call "Mr Front End & RV Services" he does a lot of MH service work on not just the engine. Like I said I haven't gone there but several folks have had they're MHs serviced &/Or repaired and the prices were very reasonable in IMHO. They were happy and I've heard a lot of good things about this place. Check his address out @
8251 Pascal Dr, Punta Gorda, FL 33950 you'll see he has a lot of MHs in his yard , I doubt they'd be there without good reviews.

Just had my ISC350 serviced along with my QD7500 in Quartzsite with Rotella and Fleetguard oil/fuel filters for $425 - Also had the Allison 3000 transmission serviced with TranSyn for $425 - $850 for everything.

Engine oil and Fuel Filter annually
Generator every 100 hours or 24 months
Transmission every 5 years with TranSyn
