The , Wait to start , function is ambient temp related , above approx 50f it won't come on .

I do find your post a little confusing , so I'll ask questions .

Does the engine crank over , but not start ?

Or does the engine start and not continue running ?

How have you determined that the primer ( lift ) pump is not working ?

What chassis is your coach built on ?

Wilson ; it's been 58 years since my last attempt at conversing in written or spoken French so I'll have to stick to English .

The correct description of your problem is " cranks over but won't run ."

If you leave the ignition switch in the run position , for about a minute ; does the CEL ( Check Engine Light ) stay on ?

How long has it been since the engine last ran ?

Some of the fuel solenoids have 2 coils. One moves the solenoid, the other holds it in place once it starts.
You may have a bad solenoid.

Are you talking about the solenoid of the electrical panel next to the driver's seat

This style of solenoid hasn't been used on Cummins fuel systems since the late 1990's ; P-7100 mechanical injection pump.
2008 ISL , has HPCR fuel system ( High Pressure Common Rail ) with electronic fuel injectors , and to stop the engine the ECM just stops firing the injectors.

So the engine runs momentarily , but then stalls .
In a month and a half there may have been rodent damage to the electrical or fuel system on the coach; or the lift ( primer ) pump has failed.

I don't have information on the lift pump location ,or testing, on the 08 ISL , but I'll see what I can dig up online .
It is possible that this will not be a DIY repair ; are you close to a Cummins repair shop ?

Do you have any electrical diagrams for your coach.

You may check in/around the engine compartments to see if there are any small fuse holders.
On my coach I have 4 different fuse holders in my rear passenger side electrical compartment. Each fuse holder has 1-3 fuses. These fuses are for the engine and transmission. One fuse will protect the ECM. The ECM is what probably signals the lift pump to work.

This is for a 2002 Windsor with and ISC but my guess is that the ISL will have a similar configuration re fuses.

Also, if you have a Cummins Quickserve account you can find an electrical diagram showing the cummins side of your system.

I had a thought overnight ; check the air intake and filter for restrictions ( water soaked ) parked for a length of time the intake could have been plugged by a nest or the air filter element may have got wet.

Just a thought, have you changed your fuel filters while you wwere there? You might check to make sure they are not sucking air and are tight.
