LF9009 vs LF14009NN

I just bought two LF9009's on Amazon for $21 each and received two LF14009NN filters. I was about to return them when I read these may be an upgrade to the LF9009 which my old 2006 ISL uses.

Gotta love camelcamelcamel for alerting me to the drastic price drop on the lf9009's.

Has anyone used them in their old ISL engines?

Thanks, Bill

BigBillSD,

Yes, the Fleetguard LF14009NN is a filter upgrade to the LF9009 and I get the upgraded filters online for roughly $45.00 bucks if I search hard enough....so you got a good buy.

Google "Fleetguard LF14009NN vs LF9009 and you will find the PDF from Fleetguard profiling the upgraded filter document.

Yes, I use them every year on my ISL. I find they keep the oil cleaner than the 9009.

Received mine today from that link. 9009’s still a good price over what I paid last time.

Keith,
I tried also. Like you, they shipped me a LF9009.
