Thank you, Toribk. It reads much like the service log provided by the shop.

BTW, I’ve got to say that I am glad NIRV Dallas recommended Premiere Truck Group (South) for the repair. It is a first class facility and they took good care of us. I wish both of these companies were closer to home.

We will drop it off at the Freightliner facility in Temple this week and let them have a go at it.

RH RVER , Wow great read can’t wait for the outcome. This subject should almost be on Netflix. Hope the diagnosis is a simple one with a happy ending. And we could all learn something. I’m looking at purchasing a Dynaquest XL 8.9 L

Well, wife picked up the MH from Freightliner last week. They replaced the VGT Actuator - which I understand is the Turbo Actuator. They said that this would have caused the EGR system to become clogged, which was the problem that was initially repaired twice. It makes sense that the initial failures were symptoms of another issue because they said it was excess idling that caused the EGR system to clog, which never made sense since we don't idle much.

Now, I am still concerned that I am not back to normal power. I plan to do a test drive this weekend because the wife said it would lose 1 mph on overpasses (fully loaded with toad), which typically did not occur in the past.

I think I'm going to do a 100 mile test drive this weekend to see if it is reacting normally. I'll post if I find continuing issues but I hope we've gotten to the end of this saga.

Started engine and got MIL and CEL. Checked code to find coolant out of range. Apparently an air bubble cleared the system on the drive home. Added 1 gallon of coolant then the test drive went fine.

That is until we hit a detour in a small town that passed us through a neighborhood with a lot of low hanging oak trees. Had to disconnect the toad and back up a couple of blocks. Thankfully other drivers (a BUNCH of em!) we’re courteous and gave way. Another adventure.
