Well job is almost complete, I ended up just removing the head of the compressor and that made all the difference in the world on getting to the vp44. Vp44 was out in minutes after doing that. Thank God! Hopefully RV will be going done the road tomorrow . Thanks again for your help!!!
I too and getting ready to replace a VP44 buried behind the air compressor. I'm wondering if there were any gaskets you needed to replace in the compressor when you removed the head.
