Oil/Coolant Additives

I have a 2008 Fleetwood Bounder on a Freightliner chassis, Cummins 6.7L 325 hp engine. I was just looking at a site (Bear Engine Shop I think) and they recommended additives big time. What, if any, additives does anyone swear by for engine oil and coolant (and maybe transmission?)

Engine: none-- just good quality oil of the correct viscosity.

Transmission: none. Allison 668 (the newest generation of Transynd-- fully backwards compatible) when changing oil/filters.

Coolant: Just approved coolants, maintained and changed as recommended. With Freightliner, they recommend "standard low silicate coolant with added SCA". Were their coolant level sensor compatible with the new generation "maintenance-free"/OAT based coolants, definitely go with them.

Timeless --

I'll echo Brett's comments in that I do not use additives but do use high quality oils and coolant

Engine - high quality conventional 15W-40 (Shell Rotella T4 or Chevron Delo 400 depending on which "oil change shop" I use)

Transmission - Allison Transynd

Coolant - for my coach Freightliner specifies "Heavy Duty Coolant with SCAs" meaning the purple color coolant --> https://prestonecommand.com/products...reeze-coolant/ I can't use a "long life" coolant because the coolant level sensor Freightliner installed isn't compatible with other coolants

Onan 8000 Watt Quiet Diesel Generator -- Mobil Delvac Extreme 15W-40 Full Synthetic -- I like the added thermal and viscosity stability of a full synthetic oil when operating my generator continuously for 48 hours on a hot September LSU football weekend in Baton Rouge. Even though I use a synthetic oil in the generator, I religiously follow the 150 hour oil change frequency prescribed by Cummins.
