It’s on the top of the carburetor. It has or should have a small spring under it. It is what determines how far closer the throttle butterfly can close. You should be able to see it with the carb installed.

I know this is not exactly an issue to be posted here.

I changed the oil on the generator and forgot to lock the outside door. Went back a few weeks later and the inside cover that mounts on the front of the generator walked off. My fault for sure

I have tried salvage yards, used parts places who are all willing to sell me a generator but not the cover.

Any ideas
