Release Fan Drive Belt?

How to you release this belt in order to get the serpentine belt off? I have a 2008 Allegro Bus with 425 Cummins and side radiator. The drive belt for the fan doesn't have a tensioner, do you just pry it enough on the rubber mount to remove the belt? Thanks in advance.

There has to be a tensioner or and adjuster. Prying on stuff just leads to damage.

The tensioner has a square hole that a 1/2" rachet drive should fit. You can use a rachet or breaker bar. Just turn it to release the tension on the belt.

Take a picture of the routing of the belt first.

Keep the old belt as a spare.

With a side radiator, isn't the fan bolted to the hydraulic drive motor?

Can you take a picture of the belt you're talking about and post it?

Thank you for the responses; I got good advice. There is a metal plate under the radiator, I removed that and exposed the tensioner for the radiator fan belt. Makes changing the serpentine a little bigger job than I expected.
