Water pump for c8.3

I am having a heck of a time navigating the Cummins website. I need the part number for the water pump kit for my C8.3 Cummins. When I put in my engine serial number, I get a list of parts for that engine, but none are the water pump kit. Can anyone tell me how to get that part number?

Also, I am not wedded to the idea that I need a genuine Cummins replacement part. A solid branded part will do. I am not the least bit interested in buying a cheapo Chinese knockoff that will likely fail too quickly.

NAPA, CarQuest, both will have access to one.

If you have a Cummins Quickserve account and your engine registered just go the the parts tab.
There are 3 options to view, look at the System View, it will provide different categories, to to the Cooling section, and then find the water pump.

On my 2001 8.3 ISC CM554 the water pump number is 3804927

Cummins does not make water pumps as far as I know. Various OEM suppliers make them, or good aftermarket options also. The one in the cummins box will come from china as likely as not, doesn't mean it's not the best option, probably the most expensive option.

There are updated designs that are used in newer high HP versions of the engine, that you may want. Even though a 300HP C8.3 seems tame compared to 450HP ISLs, that 300HP rating was higher than trucks got at the time, and way higher than tractors got out of the same engine, so putting a higher capacity water pump on isn't a bad idea. The part numbers may supercede, or show an optional upgrade. You can search the part numbers to show the differences, open vs closed impeller, more impeller fins, plastic vs steel, etc.

Thanks for the help! Found the water pump I needed at Napa, installed it (very easy to do except for dealing with all that coolant that had to be drained), and am now happily leak free.
