Water Separator Replacement

I have the older Winn Fuel System water separator in my Monaco Dynasty. It apparently works fine, no leaks and engine runs very well. But, the age of the filter is unknown and it's a safer bet to replace--I have a new one waiting to go on. I'm not entirely sure of how to replace the filter element though. Can anyone advise of the steps?

Mine was bypassed . I found the largest Racor filter with hand pump NOS I think 120 gpm on E bay for about $60 a couple fittings from local truck supply maybe $5 each. You could carry just in case. The rest of bells and wistles are not necessary. Later people posted a replacement screen housing and gaskets that were supposed to be unavailable. I may test then move the water sensor to new bowl.
