Any specific isues to be aware of on 05 or 06 C9?
We are *considering* an 05 or 06 American Tradition. The 05 is a 38', Sparten chassis and Cat 400. The 06 is a 40', same chassis and engine. Traditions other than 06, and the 39' 05 all have Cummins engines.
I know there have been some Cummins model years that have had known build-issues, with potential failure of a connecting rod bearing, or something like that. I'm not sure what those model years are, but I'd be skeptical of buying one that had the recall to install that dashboard *impending failure warning light*.
How an engine has been taken care of is more important than the make and model, but are there any issues or reasons to avoid the C9 in these model years?
