C12 Cat Radiator Water leak

Hello everyone,

We have a 1995 Affinity with a C12 cat. have a coolant leak between the water pump and the oil cooler. Went to cat to get parts. Showed them a picture where metal pipe comes out of water pump and then dose a little "J" into the oil cooler. Where the pipe goes into the oil cooler it looks like the pipe has a "O" ring and pushes in to cooler. Guy at cat told me some one modified. We have owned unit since it was a little over a year old. Has any one had a leak here and seen same thing. Cat tell me it should just be a straight pice of radiator hose. Its not all.

Thank you Jeff

Does it look "different" from this photo?

Provide the engine serial number and I (or you) can look up the parts breakdown on the CAT parts site. https://parts.cat.com/en/catcorp

Sorry Jeff but I can't seem to see that area of my engine compartment that shows the water pump in the picture you posted. I tried from various angles but can't quite get a pic. Good luck with the Cat website
