C15 ACERT single Turbo compression

Ok so I am finally about to be done overhauling my C15 ACERT with single turbo conversion but ran into a question and possible snag. Everything is brand new not reman from crank to rocker arms and cam. Got a call from the mechanic about the pistons and he was worried about the IPD piston kit (part # KIF4787/12)I bought (piston part #3564787). This is the 18:1 compression piston for the stock Acert but my truck has already previously been converted to single turbo with VVAs/IVAs unplugged and backed all the way off. The pistons the mechanic pulled out where C16 low compression positions and liners. ECM programming has custom tune to 625hp with high compression setting so the IPD kit I bought is good to go or does anything need to be done to use the new IPD 18:1 pistons?
