Well Gang,
This is the stuff I've been using for the last 7 years on our C-7. So far, the engine's doing just fine. Hasn't gone through the roof yet.

it seems that these Forums display photos in "landscape view". If it bothers you, you can open the photo in MS Paint program, and drag the right side "border" out to turn a portrait view photo into a landscape view.
But we all get what you're trying to show.

Yeah, I was thinking of going back in and re-aligning it via a couple of methods but, got lazy. Thanks again for the cleaning things up.

Warmer today . So on to the next project . Engine is pined . Found a few adjustments a tad tight . Will update on all when I begin to adjust them
Any one have and idea on the numbers on the inside of the vavle cover . AS it have owned it since before 8/16 So they were not done then . If ever

When I last had my valves adjusted, my valve cover had numbers inside the valve cover just like yours, but my numbers were 296, with 3-3 under the 296. I have always wondered what the numbers meant as well.

Valves are done . I thought Id post a picture of both , where to pin the engine . And the engine block drain .
Both are now colored RED
Water pump and A/C compressor back in there place also .
Lucky im in no rush on this job !
On a side note . Can any one tell me what the spiral thing is inside the block behind the water pump hole ?
