Has anyone got any information about converting a Cat diesel to run on compressed natural gas(CNG)and diesel?I got in on a conversation where that was done with a smaller engine with terrific(according to the speaker) results.I got on the internet and found quite a lot of info about it-just wondering if anyone's actually done it.ldsord

A few years back a know a bunch of guys on some of the Diesel Truck boards were running Propane on top of the diesel. They claimed increased HP and fuel mileage due to the idea that the propane helped the diesel burn more completely...

I have no experience with it, I always thought it would be a neat idea, but didn't want to take the risks.

The thing that really peaked my interest was, they were using a high amount of cng and supposedly getting more hp,less noise, emissions, and most of all, very low fuel cost because of the low cost of NG.The guy who was telling me about it claimed they were saving about 40%.I asked him to get me some contact info.ldsord
