journey DL caterpillar 3126 power loss

After two months of sitting my 2002 Winnebago journey powered by 3126 caterpillar started a-ok as always however after pulling out I noticed there was no power even pressing accelerator to the floor. No indicators lights either. After riding around the block for 30 minutes power started to come back then all at once it ran as a-ok. This has happened two times now in the last year?
Thank-you for your help in this matter.

I have heard of a stuck exhaust brake causing symptoms you describe. Needs to be lubricated once a year with special high temp grease made for exhaust brakes.

Driving around the block must have jarred it loose finally.

Welcome to iRV2.

Bad connection to the throttle positioning sensor could also be a problem.
My TPS is on the back of the pedal , track the wiring to the main harness under the dash, disconnect and inspect the wiring , possible damage from humidity , from cleaning carpets.
Her is some info on our engines, including tests for the TPS.

I know of the fuel water separator, Cat 198-6378. Is there another filter on the engine block, maybe part number, Cat 1R-0751

Thank-you in advance for your help in this matter.

Yes there is a 3 micron filter mounted on the engine that filters the fuel going
to the injectors.
Part # 1R-0751 is listed for a C7 engine
Part # 1R0759 is listed for 3126B engine

Fuel Filters

Quinn Cat of Selma CA changed mine 3405 filter and 1R-0751 filter at least that's what's on the invoice, also mine were relocated to the rear next to the radiator one on each side.

No, there is only one fuel/water separator filter on your coach. I had the same coach for 8 years and the only fuel filter is the one mounted in the lower engine area. The 198-6378 is CAT's 2 micron high efficiency fuel/water filter.

There is a way to add another fuel filter and if you bought the coach used, the prior owner may have added one.
