Loose water fitting of some kind

Took my '01 Tradewinds out for a run yesterday to get fuel and just run everything. Smelled something funny and the low water light came on as I was getting near the storage place, but since the temp was holding, I got it in and stopped. I got it leveled and slid underneath and thought it was transmission fluid, but saw it was coming from over by the radiator and even though it was kind of dark orange it wasn't greasy feeling. After looking closer, I found a plug connected to a flex tube hanging right next to a blue cylinder that I think is the fan motor, but couldn't find out where the threaded end goes. Now I'm thinking that I'm gonna have to pull that big a## side radiator just to find where it goes and reattach it and that doesn't look like fun.
Of all times for my mobile diesel mechanic to get shot down with the Covid and I can't get it into a shop for over 2 months minimum.

Took it in yesterday and about an hour later they called to tell me that they had found the problem. It was the top radiator hose that was leaking so they are ordering that, a lower one and a thermostat and flushing the system and adding new ELC fluid. I guess replacing the fluid is the most expensive part of the job, besides labor.
All of this, along with a couple of other things was supposed to have been around a 1000 miles ago when the engine was replaced with a new rebuilt 3126B.
Do not have anything done by Flying Wrench shop in Hansville, Wa.
