Oil Pressure Sensor

Need to replace Oil Pressure Sensor on Cat C7, p/n 161-1705. Anyone know about how much oil loss when I remove the old sensor?
TIA
Lonnie

If you are ready to put the new one in not much at all. Maybe 2 oz.. I have always had the new one and had it teflon taped ready to install.

2nd option do it when doing your oil change.

Just a quick note on the Darwin Awards .
Chrysler used a special socket on their oil pressure sending units , and the socket was part of the shops special tool package .
On the side of the socket was the warning.

" Do not use while the motor is running!"

finally got mine off. Couldn't get enough leverage thru bedroom hatch, so under i go. Got wrench on and used pry bar for leverage. As soon as seal broke loose it unscrewed real easy. Hardly any oil loss. For grins, sprayed both ends w/ contact cleaner and re-installed. No luck, so I ordered new sensor. Old one must be original as it is painted Cat yellow. Will find out in a week, then I can go on to having 'Engine Speed Signal Calibration' done by mechanic.
