Oil pressure sensor and ECM

Continuation of ECM repair and oil pressure sensor on 3126B. Recently had ECM repaired. Reinstalled and engine started, but I don't have oil pressure on gauge and low oil pressure light stays on. I've ordered a new oil press sensor however, after reading through my data download from the repair shop I see "Engine Oil Pressure Sensor" ---"NOT INSTALLED". Is there a possibility that the repair facility failed to put in "INSTALLED" ? Can this be rectified with the ECM installed or will I need to remove it again and return it to the repair facility? My thinking is, the new oil pressure sensor is not going to help.
Thanks in advance,
Lonnie

I think I would start by calling the ECM repair people to see what they had to say

If you have a scan gauge plug it in and see if you get an oil pressure reading. Even if the dash gauge doesn't work the ECM would still show itself a reading. If the scan gauge shows no reading that means the ECM needs to be coded to have an oil pressure gauge. I'm surprised the motor is starting at all if their ECM isn't seeing any oil pressure. If Scan Guage IS showing oil pressure then I suspect a loose wire at the sensor, or guage.
