Pix request - can someone post up a picture of their primary fuel filter on their C9?

I'm looking to see if there is suppose to be a WIF sensor on the bottom of my primary fuel filter.....

I called CAT and they said the C9 does not have a WIF sensor and that I should use the CAT 175-294 filter instead of the FG 1242 (listed in the manual). Right now I have (from PO) the Baldwin BF1293 SPS.

BTW - the manual says there is a 'Water in Fuel' warning light that illuminates when there is water in the fuel.

I hope you're not relying on a WIF warning light to come and tell you it is time to change your filters
Change your oil, filters (fuel & oil) and all others fluids and filters like CAT recommends and you should be fine.

I don't have WIF sensor. I check the water sep. filter every tank full or when we stop for a few days of visiting.

Absolutely not...just trying to find out where the 'WIF' warning light gets it's info...On my RAM 6.7 CTD there is a sensor on the bottom of the fuel filter.
