Strange Check Eng alert

So, coming home from the beach yesterday about 2 blocks from the house is a rather steep hill I was going up around 10 MPH.

I caught the “Check Eng” light come on as well as the “See Info Center” light.
There were no audible alarms, and in the time it too me to adsorb the two lights and glance to the info display, if anything was there, I never saw it. This whole thing lasted less than 5 sec, probably closer to 3.

I have never seen this before, so maybe it always shows up? The engine felt the same as it always has coming up this rather short grade, and I don’t see any faults.

Any ideas?

Coolant tank level or coolant tank switch.Level changes as you go up and hills. Could be the coolant level was just low enough to trip the level switch giving you the warning.
