Question Sylvester the CAT Diesel Engine Decals

About 10 years ago, another forum member produced some really cool CAT engine logo decals, featuring Sylvester the cartoon cat. I bought one way back then and it has been on the back of my rig ever since. The decal never faded and held up better than my factory paint job! My rig is now being re-painted and unfortunately there was no way to save my beloved Sylvester decal. I’d love to buy another one, but I don’t know the username of the gentleman, or if he is still on iRV2. A forum search and a Google search turned up empty. Does anybody know where I can get another one?

Thanks!

Sylvester the CAT Diesel Engine Decals

I could kick myself for not taking a close up photo of the decal before it was removed. I suppose I could find separate Sylvester & CAT decals to create something similar.

Here’s a blurry photo of it from afar. Sorry that it’s not any clearer...Click image for larger version

JMHO: Anybody in our age group , who had a TV in the 50s , didn't need to see a picture.

I , thought I saw a puddy-tat!

BTW; Did you Google " vinyl decals made to order"?

EDIT: eBay has Looney tunes decals , by the hundreds , but I didn't see that pose.

Haha! This thread got me going today, so I tuned into the Boom channel and watched some classic cartoons. 🤪

I could find a lot of Sylvester decals and a lot of CAT decals, but as you said, none with this pose and none with Sylvester next to a CAT insignia. I’ll most likely end up making my own with two separate vinyl decals.

Was recently parked next to a Fleetwood DP, that had a decal above the fuel fill door saying 'Cat Food'.
Took me a couple days to figure it out !!

Ben, Ben , Ben ; you've been living on Powell River time to long , it's interfering with your thought process.

I have that decal and it's actually two pieces and I got it about 8 years ago from some lady on this forum. I'm thinking that I have another one, I usually order two in case of mistakes.
Durned if I can remember where I put it tho. 77 year olde brain.

UPDATE:

In an attempt to re-create what I had, I purchased this Sylvester decal and this CAT logo decal on eBay. The CAT logo is high quality and look like it will last, but sadly the Sylvester decal is not. Poor quality, looks cheap.
