Just had my 2014 Itasca Meridian 34B into the shop to check the transmission settings. My shift point was set at 2800 rpm - to high for the Cummings 6.7 ISB. When they plugged in the programmer the computer recognized the problem automatically changing the shift points to 2600 rpm. I don't understand all that changed, but it seems like someone at Freight liner had figured out that they programed the motor and transmissions to the wrong RPM and made a computer change that would be automatic to any 2500 trans hooked up to the programmer.
Well to say the difference in shifting was noticeable is an understatement - pulls and you can feel the up-shifts and downshifts - no more hunting for the correct gear.
Well done Freight Liner and Allison!
