Allison AT545 replacement

I have a 1988 Executive Prestige with a 5.9 Cummins and AT 545 with brake with no reverse. This is a new to me MH and the guy I got it from said it had been that way since he had it. This home has several small issues but I don’t want to start addressing many of them till I can drive it.
I spoke with someone at Allison and it seems my 4th clutch is burned out.

I have a somewhat limited budget and live in a rural area but have found someone willing to replace transmission. He doesn’t do transmission rebuilding.

What I’m needing to make sure of is will any AT545 fit or do I need to find one with a certain serial #. I have seen some information saying something about fitting serial # xxx or later on some things and just want to be certain about this. Also I guess I need to find another one with the brake on it. Not sure if the brake is removable and put on another transmission.

I have found some on eBay but little information on finding one elsewhere.
I considered going to a mt643 or something but not sure the guy going to do the work will want to make modifications.

Any help is appreciated
