Allison Service in Orlando Florida Area

Anyone have any information regarding routine Allison Service Shops (Pro's and Con's) in the Central Florida area?

I used Florida Detroit Diesel-Allison for a TranSynd fill. Excellent service. EZ in and out.

FDDA is the Allison distributor in Florida; there's a shop in Orlando.

Probably a dumb questions, but I am talking to a dealer who is a Freightliner/Cummins dealer/warranty service and they say they are an Allison "maintenance shop", but normally warranty works gets referred to someone else. Any thoughts on how much better an Allison dealer like FDDA would be for routine maintenance on my Allison 3000?

Ideally I'd rather take my RV to one shop to get all the routine maintenance done, but I don't have a Freightliner/Cummins/Allison dealer around me (central Florida).

Can't think of the one near or in Lakeland but they sure took good care of me when I needed a TCM in a pinch. Took mine, managed to get enough programming information and handed me a shiny new one in 30 minutes.

Lakeland is East of tampa 30 miles and probably 50 miles West of Orlando.

If a dealership is authorized and trained to be an Allison maintenance facility there will be an Allison Transmission sign on the building. No sign, they are not authorized. An Allison maintenance dealer is authorized and trained to do maintenance functions, transmission R&R, control module R&R, but cannot get into the guts of the transmission.
They will also be listed on the Allison website under the service finder when looking for maintenance locations.

Trans Diesel of Central Florida - Detroit Diesel Engines and Diesel Engine Service

I did not know they have three locations. They were fantastic and fairly priced. Took care of my TCM that I carried in. Thirty minutes later they handed me a freshly programmed unit and the price was fair. The folks were very friendly and helpful.
