While searching for a trailer brake controller wiring pigtail under the dash on my 2007 Four Winds Hurricane 34B, I found this "extra" wiring pigtail coming from the OD lockout switch on the dash. Can anyone identify its function/purpose?

Is your coach on a Workhorse chassis ?

If so you maybe able to identify the connector with a whole chassis wiring diagram from this site.

Workhorse Technical Info

Yes - W20.
I am currently looking through the wiring diagrams but they are extensive.
Figured I would simultaneously post on here as well.

I would imagine that the connector is for an indicator light to be installed remote from the instrument cluster .
I can see only two wires in the multiple connector ; blue and black ; engine running , hit the OD off switch and see if the blue wire shows 12v power then switch off and check for no power , check black wire for zero ohms to ground.

On a related note, has anyone relocated the OD lockout switch to a more convenient location?
It is currently located on the dashboard and is a reach to get to. I am considering relocating it next to the level control panel or the steering wheel (via coiled cable).

Don't know if plan or arrow is to put on wheel or on steering column . Wheel buttons have clock spring devices or slip rings/brushes to allow several turns of wheel.
The extra plug could be for lamp or switch you should be able to test. A lamp would have a ground. If simple on goof switch I can't see reason you couldn't move it or even add second switch. Any switch turning off OD would lock out OD.
