Can someone please remind me what transmission temp should be when checking fluid level. Thanks in advance for your help.

Warm. I check it when landing.

That said, if not warm enough the display will tell you, iirc.

If you check it and can't get a reading, it's still too cold. If you get an OK, or a high or low reading, the temp is good.

My user manual:
The transmission temperature must be at least 140 F. /60 C; otherwise, an error code will appear.

If you are using the dipstick, it's best to check it at operating temperature. That is at whatever temp the vehicle is when it is going down the road. That way you can be sure when the vehicle is being used the oil level is correct.
When using the oil level sensor, follow those guidelines already posted.
