Have noticed a very small "drip", just under the rear end, right under where the radiator is. There is a small box, about 12 inches long with 2 hoses on both ends. Looks like they run up to radiator or engine.
The fluid is clear, doesnt look like radiator fluid so i think its DEF fluid. Its coming from a spot thats soddered around the edge
Have tried a piece of "flex" tape over it for now.
Is this a Cummins issue or freighliner issue?
Not sure if it will get worse so any info would help

The drip from the box is coppper in material. Can i use some kind of expoxy material like jb weld to stop it, even when it leaks

I'm by no means an expert here but I'll venture a guess. DEF is highly corrosive I have seen. I would think that most DEF tanks are plastic. I can tell you on my Chevy Duramax when I pour DEF fluid in under the hood, if a drop hits anything and I don't get it wiped up, a couple weeks later it's already left a white spot and eating away at whatever it's on. Now maybe some manufacturer use a metal that's coated, but I would think a thick plastic like a gas tank would be the norm.

Def tank will be near the def filler neck. Follow those hoses and see where they actually go. Agree the def tank is most likely plastic. Let it drip onto white paper towels and see what color the drip is. Def will be clear and when it dries is will be crystalline, antifreeze will have much more color. Hydraulic oil will be red and oily feeling.
