HD4000 Tq capasity

I'm planing to tune my C-15 to 550/1850 from 515/1650 and I've been trying to find out how this affects the HD4000 MH-P trans.
I understand some 4000 made later could handle 1950 tq.
Also some earlier ones for Firetruck use were rated for 1850.

But trying to contact Allison to get answers hasn't been successful.

Anyone on this Forum have any info?

Thanks

The Cummins X15 in my Cornerstone makes 605/1950 and has an MH4000 that operates pretty much flawlessly., if that helps.

I have two pdfs giving ratings , one dated 2014 so no use and this undated giving the 1650 as torque spec .
So this could be the reason your Cat is tuned for that torque . Best info would come from Allison linked to your trans serial number .

But JMHO: Not looking good.

Thanks, A Few CC owners have had their engines tuned, sure would be nice to read some reports from them.

Maybe Allison will someday get back to me. They want to push everything off to their dealers but so far no info one way or the other from the couple I contacted.
