MH3000 filters

I just bought a filter kit from NAPA based on a part number I got from the Allison website. The two filters in the kit appear to be the same filter. For whatever reason, I was expecting the filters to be different sized. Are the correct filters the same size?

I bought the Allison 3000MH kit from a dealer and the filters are identical.

Yes. Main and lube use the same part number.

The February 2012 issue of motorhome mag. has a good step by step remember the tranny and covers are made of aluminum when scraping old gaskets. I used a hand pump to refill and you will need torc wrech the job was no harder than changing the oil.
