Cool Allison issues - check trans lites up -overheating or overloading?

I was going to post a question about my 'CHECK TRANS" lights going on, and my RV going into limp mode during the hottest days in the summer (especially on very steep hills) . The poster said he was towing 7000 lbs... I have a 38' holiday Rambler with a 6500 lb towing capacity and I am towing 5,500 plus lbs.

I'm wondering if any other HR Class A, or other with Allison trans have this same issue ( CHECK TRANS lite going on, or entering limp mode) on very hot days while climbing hills?

Yes my rig is rated at 6500 lbs towing capacity but my trailer and 4000 lb GTO are heavy, I also have a LOT of stuff inside the rig, adding weight (I'm a fulltimer).

I was told that Allisons are "bullet proof", so I am worried it might need to be rebuilt, if it was a weight issue I would be relieved as i can't afford to rebuilt it right now. My rig has unknown miles on it (I had to sign a waiver when i bought it stating that I knew that the odometer was broken). The Cumings 300 turbo diesel is not showing signs that it is worn out, is the Allison built to match the number of miles it can go?

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.
