Pan removal

I have a crack in oil pan mh3000 in a 2002 38' Alpine coach. I was going to remove pan and have it welded but after removing all bolts the passenger side was free and hanging loose but the drivers side seemed to hang on something it would only drop down about 1/2". I finally replaced all the bolts and looking st JB weld. Anybody have a pan off.
Thanks Jack

It's probably hanging up on the oil pump pick-up tube/screen.

That is not an oil pan you are looking at if you have an MH3000. That is the bottom of the control module and it is aluminum. Be careful dropping the control module. On top of it is the valve body and the main connector.

You are right about not an oil pan. I sealed enough to get into Allison shop. The aluminum pan was not repairable because of the location of damage being under a tunnel in the pan. I am glad I did not get it off. Thank you for the module info.
Thanks Jack
