Push Button Allison 2000

I have a 2000 push button transmission but have been unable to check fluid level using the push pad. Does it have that capability in the 2000?

Well I should have looked before posting but it looks like the answer is no.

If I remember correctly you have a Workhorse chassis. If so, the shift pad they used was from Arens, not Allison, and I don't think the Arens unit provided all the functions that the Allison pads do.

Hi Ed, yes on the WH. I guess it is a Arens I'll have to look at it. This selector does have the P position.
