Scan gauge to tell what gear the trans is in?

From 2001 through 2007 Allison did not have the gear the transmission was running in on their control pad. I am looking for a way to add that information to my scangauge diesel in my 2005 Winnebago journey any help would be greatly appreciated.

The scan gauage diesel does not give the gear position (Well, if it does I haven't foundit). I thought the info center on the dash did or can provide the gear it is in.

Your scan gauge can have custom "XGauges" set up for any parameter that is available on the connector plug. If you contact Linear Logic, Scangauge development co., they can tell you if the parameter is available, and if so, how to set up an "XGauge"

The X-Gauge feature is great, but the problem is that many/most of the more interesting PIDs are manufacturer proprietary, and the manufacturer is under no obligation to release the information to the consumer or anyone else.

It is not one of the system commands, it requires one the custom commands for the ScanGauge to add that information from the ECU. I was trying to find out if someone had used the X-Gauge feature to tell what gear the trans is running and what code they used to recover the information from ECU.
