Shift Selector does not light up
1999 Safari Zanzibar, Caterpillar 3126b, Allison Transmission MD3060.
When 12 volts is jumped to starter solenoid magnetic switch - engine does turn over! 12 volts is not getting from ignition switch to the starter solenoid magnetic switch.
Items we have checked and results are; Dash lights are working, Ignition Switch working properly, Drivers Side Fuses - None blown, Battery Bay Fuses - None blown. Are there Inline Fuses that need to be checked and where would they would be found?
Could this be a transmission power problem?

On my Allison MH3000 it has fail safes that prevent the engine from starting if there is a problem in with the transmission.
Same thing happen to me last year, no lights on shifter & engine won't turn over.
Turned out to be the ECU for the transmission. If you have time you can have yours rebuilt, a new one is +$3K and will have to be programmed to your application.

There is probably a VIM(Vehicle Interface Module) fitted somewhere.
It is a plastic box, about 6" square with two connectors on one side.
The VIM contains a 10A battery fuse and 10A ignition fuse. One of these fuses could be blown.
It also has six relays, including the neutral start and reverse light.
The other thing to check is that the connector is firmly plugged into the shift selector.

It doesn't have a VIM box just relays mounted on back of cab. It has a fuse next to the battery for the alison main and a fuse in the fuse panel for neutral safety relay. yesterday I had the ECU tested at the truck shop and they said it is ok. I also by pased the computer and powered up the shifter. That lights up too but it wont start still.
Thanks for the help guys

Corrosion in the inline fuse holder near the chassis battery + terminal, (in the wire to the Allision VIM), caused that in my then 9 year old coach.

We found the 10A fuse inside the VIM box was blown. We replaced it and the engine fired up!
Thank you to everyone.
