Transynd price Dallas Ft. Worth area

Just an FYI for you guys in The DFW area Inland Truck Parts (Allison Dealer) price on Transynd was $38.00 a gal. and they do extend a discount to FMCA members. I checked Stewart Stevenson and they were at $54.00 gal.

Just a note:
There are 9 different :"Allison TES 295 recomeded synthetic transmission fluids", for use in our M3060 transmisions: On-Highway Fluids.

Oil and/or chemical distributors sometimes sell them for a much lower price than any "authorized Allison" shop/dealer.

I paid $164.05 for a 5 gal pail of Mobile Delvac synthetic ATF, (only $32.81 a gal) at "Heartland Lubricants & Chemicals" in Wisconsin.

I got the best price from an Allison repair shop....don't recall what it was. But it was much cheaper than the price from a Freightliner shop.

I just had mine done at an Allison Authorized Shop, total was $321 and that included changing both filters. I found that you need to find a shop that buys it in bulk, they pay way less than I would, and it is cheaper to have them do it. The place that does mine also does my toad, and the toad is less than $200. I can't buy the Transynd for that, but they buy it 1,000 gallons at a time, and I guess bulk buy rules.
