I am new this forum page and discussion. I don't think it's correct to say or assume that all CAI's are the same and to think the stock system is better than all CAI's. I do think 95% of them are junk, and make un-tested claims to get sales. And I think the stock set up is a good one. The stock one on mine is getting a little roughed up from being removed a time or two and from sloppy filter remove/installs. So I have a choice to either replace stock with stock or possibly a credible aftermarket. If I do aftermarket, it will be Banks. Banks provides flow test results comparing competitors and stock to their system(https://shop.bankspower.com/c-13-pro...e-systems.html) They pretty much utilize the stock layout with intake and air flow improvements, drawing all the intake from outside the engine compartment, specifically with their Ram Air addition. I've also read that the stock one flows all the air that can be used with the stock state of tune and the stock exhaust....this could be someones opinion. Either way, all I'm driving is that I think the stock one is good and that not all CAI's are equal.
