Mysterious Light

Hi all from Worcester in the UK.
I recently purchaced a 96 Fleetwood Flair Diesel and it has a light on the dash panel that is yellow and it looks like a cog with an exclamation mark inside it.
It drives ok and has all four gears however the previous owner says that sometimes when the light isn't on it drives much better with more power! Is it in limp mode? and how can I fix it?
Much appreciated Lee.

Welcome to irv2. We need to move your post to a section of the forum to best serve you. Can you tell us what chassis your Flair is on and a photo of this light would assist as well. Cliff

Transmission Fault lamp, probably an issue with the lock-up converter...

Do you have access to your manual. It should have a listing of all the cluster notification lights. I do agree it looks like a Trans trouble code.

Good luck...

I'll move this thread to our Duramax section to see if we can get an answer there.
