Ford f350

We are buying a used f350 and have noticed that a seemingly vast majority of the vehicles for sale are 2017. Is there a problem with that particular year?

Some very early build 17's had minor issues that were likely covered under warranty. 2017+ are largely considered bulletproof trucks this far. 6.7L is a proven motor and the 6 speed transmission as well.

I had a 2017 with the 6.7 Powerstroke... super truck and super engine. I wish I would have kept it but I didn’t need it because I sold my big trailer.
I wouldn’t hesitate for a minute in buy another 2017 with the Powerstroke!

My guess would be that Ford introduced a new interior, and different exterior look in the 2018 model which is still being carried forward into the 2021 year models. It seems to me this happens every 6 or 7 years.

Is the 2018 the first year of the aluminum body t00? Not sure about that.

Let's see: 3 years or 36000 miles, and then a new 10-speed, but you really have to pay for it.....

2017 - 2019 are virtually unchanged. The 2018 did get a slight power and torque increase to win bragging rights over Ram and GM.

Tuner on my 15 boosted power & torque, do I get bragging rights?
