Entegra Accolade Slide Issue

I have a 2021 Entegra Accolade Model 37K. When I put out the living room slide it clicks(slips) a number times prior to being moving smoothly. I think it needs some adjustment but the dealer didn't think it was an issue.

Also being unfamiliar with the Cummins® ISB 6.7L 360 HP diesel engine with 800 ft.-lb. torque, I have read that you can expect your MPG can be from a low of 11 MPG to a high of 17MPG? If so that would be great.

Isn't it still in warranty? Have you called Entegra help desk?

On the mileage, how many miles do you have on it? Who told you "low of 11 MPG to a high of 17MPG" Depending on weight and driving teckneak I would say smile if you are at 7 and don't tell anyone if you get 10.

On my 2020 37TS I have never gotten over 9 MPG. 11 is a probably someone’s dream.

Somebody was dreaming on that mileage 😅 Between towing and non-towing I get 8-10 but with the Bluefire Monitor, the ECU shows a total average of 8.1 based on actual fuel useable and miles. I’m sure it is thrown off a but from generator usage.

On the slide, I suggest you lube the slide mechanism with a dry lube and all the seals inside and out with a seal treatment and I bet it smooths it up and quiets it quite a bit. I use 3in1 products for the lube and seal conditioner.

Concerning the slide noise I sprayed the tracks with PTE and it seems to be getting quieter as it is used.

On the MPG that was my thought I'd be lucky to get 8 MPG but it was something that I read about that engine.

Just got done driving the Accolade 1200 miles from Naples Fl to St. Louis. Really my first big trip since I got it on March 1.

Some observations: The ride was superb, we thought it was a very quiet cab and very little wind noise. It held the road against the big semis, as it should, with very little push or pull as the semi's passed. I had it on cruise anywhere from 66 to 71mph. Really a pleasure to drive. The turning radius was quite surprising as it was very tight turn radius.

The only noise was the entry door that needs some kind of adjustment as the dead bolt needed jiggling to properly lock.

I mentioned earlier that I read some docs stating the the MPG could be from 11 to 17 mpg. My mpg was 9.6 with FJ cruiser in tow and speeds over 65 for extended times. Very please with that. I think if I would nurse that a speed of 60 it would top 12. (I hope)

The steering has some clicking noise that the service dealer will need to check out. Sounded just like you are winding an old time alarm clock. It would come and go.

Did you use the "Econ" mode? That helps the transmission stay in a higher gear longer. That is good mileage. I keep track of fuel and mileage in Gas Buddy.
This will make you feel good. I just got 7.25 and that was over 2600 miles. I will/would be happy to nurse it up to 7.5.

I just found this forum. We left home in a gas V-10 coach last Sept. Bought the Accolade in Phoenix from LaMesa at a show right around Thanksgiving. We like it a lot. Had an issue with the dinette slide, a huge bang and it would jump a couple inches. I found the travel limiter tab was hanging up on the tank support bracket. Luckily I brought my pancake compressor, went to Home Depot and bought a die grinder, hogged out some metal from the bracket. All good. I didn’t want to leave the rig there for who knows how long for them to do the same thing. They sold 93 units that weekend. So how much time can they spend on each rig to make it right? Hah. Not much.
I thought I should share what I found.
I’m an ASE Heavy Duty Truck tech. That’s a lot of why we bought this rig.
This wasn’t too big of a deal for me.
For some reason the photos are sideways. Tilt your head left.
